Rex is a civil litigator whose commitment to justice is rooted in real-world experience—from serving as a U.S. Army medic during Operation Enduring Freedom to advocating for consumers in high-stakes litigation. He focuses his practice on plaintiff-side advocacy in consumer protection, privacy, and false advertising cases. His work spans the full litigation cycle.

Rex graduated in the top half of his class from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he earned a concentration in civil litigation and excelled in trial advocacy. Before law school, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, San Diego, where he received awards for both academic excellence and distinction in the presentation of scientific research.

Before joining the firm, Rex clerked at Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP, one of the nation’s premier securities litigation firms, and externed at the San Diego County Public Defender’s Office, where he argued motions and zealously represented indigent clients in court. His work there earned him a reputation for professionalism and empathy.

Drawing on his diverse background in law, science, and military service, Rex brings a disciplined, analytical, and client-centered approach to every case he handles.
